at what age did you or should one stop going to night clubs?

i think i was around 30. but then again where i'm from they kind of all went out of business as the years went by. not sure why. maybe demographics. we don't even have one here anymore, and i think there's only a couple downtown in the big city. stripper bars were big business but seemed to shut down in the early 2000s when the smoking ban came into place.

I stopped going to clubs in the early 80s. The 'special people' were making a lot of us uncomfortable.I did go out once or twice in the late '80s, but the 'cool' element was gone.It was no longer fun;just an expensive turkey trap. I was a fixture at one of the local bars until my mid 40s.The neighborhood was turning to trash and a lot of my buddies were getting robbed and jumped. At that point,I left them all alone.I had a great run though.Seventies' discos were the best!
