As I get older myself, I have less and less tolerance for so-called "boomer" talk.

Such as when my dad tells me to put an ad for the apartment in "the paper".

I know what he means, and I know for like 80% of his life, that was how it was done. But it bugs me. And I'm really not sure why.

Like my dad who can talk for two hours with a bank lady in support service on the phone and think she is his private bank lady he can now ask for each time he calls costume support because he don't want anyone else.

And he talks to automatic robot voices like they're human. "No I never said that! You're not listening to me God dammit!"

And he thinks as soon as there's any issue with anything you just give them a call and straight it out. Even if the rules he claims should be accurate, aren't anymore and haven't been in 20 years.
