As I get older myself, I have less and less tolerance for so-called "boomer" talk.

Such as when my dad tells me to put an ad for the apartment in "the paper".

I know what he means, and I know for like 80% of his life, that was how it was done. But it bugs me. And I'm really not sure why.

@Aysel I do find my dad has a lot of wisdom to share still. That's part of the reason I don't quite understand why it bugs me when he says things like that. I think it's just, like I said, I'm afraid I'm going to lose him soon.
