I guess I’m not gonna have the so-called midlife crisis

I’m 50 and I don’t care. I’m not trying to be young. I don’t care to be flashy. I don’t care how I look. What is a midlife crisis supposed to be anyway. I think it’s things like buying a fast car. Dying my hair. Trying to dress like a younger person. I’m not interested in any of those things. Also I don’t have the money to buy an impractical car. I have three practical cars and there is three drivers in the house and one with permit. And also for grand children to keep up with. I’m too tired to try to be young. Not that I even think I’m old.

You’re comfortable in your own skin it sounds like and that’s a really good way to be. I think that people who have these mid life crises are not comfortable with themselves and need to seek attention and validation elsewhere
