I guess I’m not gonna have the so-called midlife crisis

You’re comfortable in your own skin it sounds like and that’s a really good way to be. I think that people who have these mid life crises are not comfortable with themselves and need to seek attention and validation elsewhere

From what I can tell, for most people it’s just a point when you do a self evaluation and then decide if there are any adjustments you want to make to how you live or want to gently guide the direction of your life. It can be healthy and rewarding.

I think for a lot of people, a midlife crisis is that moment when they realize their many years of choice’s haven’t created a life they find satisfying. That’s about the time people also become distressed, that many of their choices have permanent consequences.

It’s also about the time when whatever issues someone has spent decades not really effectively dealing with finally fester to such a problematic extent that the old avoidant methods that once got them by for a long time don’t work anymore.
