Aging Parents

My parents were pretty old when they had me.

Luckily my Dad's recent heart surgery went extremely well.

But it's slowly paining me more and more when I notice my Mom's mental quality seems to be slowly dropping... and she keeps making excuses for it, like she didn't hear or didn't see, or something else, but it's like, "Ma, you are the only one actually trying to watch the movie, why aren't you following the extremely basic plot?"... it's scaring me, and I can't seem to talk to her about it.
