What's a sound or noise you heard growing up that you don’t hear anymore.

For me it's my mom and aunts talking in swedish. The sonic nooms of the jets over the farm practicing dogfights, and the cows and sheep. Cars Don't sound the same. No dial tone on the phone when you pick it up. No static on the TV when you change channels.

Depending on where we were living in my growing up years? It would be hearing a train whistle, a barge on the Rhine River blowing a horn, and church bells chiming. Not that I never hear two of those things anymore, just more rarely.
