@iamonfire696 though you and I are a few years apart but do you remember when we were respectively in our teens and early twenties and we didn't even think the world would last this long, let alone ourselves? When I was a kid my dad was telling me about how in my lifetime I would see the turn of the century. I remember thinking, I will be 26 years old by then and there's no way in hell the planet nor myself are going to last that long! Back then we thought World War III was going to happen real soon

@CestManan I didn’t think it would last this long either tbh. I graduated high school in 2000. When everyone thought the world would end lol.

@iamonfire696 I remember thinking, "Someday when the class of 2000 graduates, They will have the honor of saying the graduated on THAT year!"
Of course the media kind of ruined any positive hype about Y2K.

Gyod now, Y2K grads have been out for 22 years. Babies born back then are now old enough to legally drink.

I vaguely remember my brother's HS graduation in '79 and remember seeing all those "really old people" in caps and gowns. I was thinking, "They might not live much longer since they are so old."

Stuff's crazy I tell ya.

@CestManan where I live in my province you only need to be 18 to legally drink but you have to be 19 to buy weed.
