It sucks when you have a dying parent..you are never prepared to lose them.. but seeing them suffer is the worst kind of pain.. ugh..

It is incredibly difficult and there are no easy answers. One piece of advice I got that really helped (not so much at the time, but later) was to try to live in such a way that you are not left with regrets after they are gone.

Take care of yourself too. It can be draining at times. I wish you the best.

Sorry man. I went through this with my grandparents, it's tough to watch someone you love get old and decline like that.
