Mellowing at a certain point

I think I'm aging better...I'm becoming more forgiving...
After eight years, I was able to talk to him. I allowed him to enter my home, finally.
Yes, I mellowed.
The anger suddenly melted down. I realized, a lot has been happening in the world.
Covid19, war, deaths...yeah, perhaps, time really heals all wounds.
Now, it's just a scar.
I still remember the past. I resent the event.
But I'm trying to understand the person who made my life a living hell at some point.
I'm getting there... someday.

What I really discovered in my now octogenarian days, I tolerate traffic jams much better than before. I am in no rush!
