Really nervous about my test results

For nearly a year I've had incontinence where I urinate and a minute later I need to again (slightly). I put it off and was nervous to go in because of my anxiety with blood pressure checks. Well today I had a regular gynecologist appointment and brought up the urinating issue. They did a urinalysis and a few things are a bit off.

I researched it online and the white blood cell is a bit high which could mean inflammation. But another test in the urine that was off too, could in rare cases indicate cancer. I m really nervous. Luckily I don't have the symptoms that accompany that cancer like back pain, fatigue or fevers. But I'm still on edge. I don't know when I'll hear from the doctor. 😔

I know how stressful waiting for test results from a doctor can be. But focus on the key word you used: RARE cases indicate cancer. Plus you don't have the symptoms. The likely outcome is you will be given some prescriptions.

I have a problem where I need to pee and I do and I'm done and everything is fine. Then a few minutes later I have to pee again and I pee as much as i did the first time. Usually twice is enough but sometimes in the middle of the night this goes on a while. Seems like old age.

@hunkalove It's frustrating isnt it? I hope they can find some cause..and hopefully not cancer.

@Baybreeze I hope it's not my prostate. I don't know what killed my father shortly before his 96th birthday but he did have bladder cancer.

You have good news, but it's hard still waiting for a diagnosis. I hope it's an easy fix.
Look up double voiding

Was it the red blood cells?

There are many other potential causes

It's very easy to say when it's not me that's living it but try not to over think it until you know all the facts. It could be something very simple and easily treated. Xx

My stool sample failed a Cologuard cancer test. They found DNA from "occult blood." Am I a zombie?

They said there was a 4% chance I had cancer. Yet a high chance I had benign polyps. Or it could be something else.

So I had to get a colonoscopy. They found no cancer. They found a benign polyp and clipped it right then and there. I saw the photo and it looked like a fold of flesh not a lump. They also found odd blood vessels and zapped them with a laser. All with the scope/device. I felt nothing after.

They also found inflammation and I had to take pills.

I gave another stool sample a while later and I still had inflammation so had to squirt enemas (white goo) every evening for a month into my rear. So unpleasant. 😖

I then was probed again. No more inflammation. No more pills. No more gross stuff.

Pooping still is gross. It will always be. Proof there is no God! 😁

YUM! (your food)

I should not be eating the sugar in that ice cream, though.

For a few years, I had tried low carb and zero sugar stuff, but it is just not the same. And I think its maltidol (sugar alcohol) substitute messes with my intestines. And it is not as tasty as sugar..I wish they used sucralose but maybe they can't or it is too expensive.

Yet right now I am drinking low calorie hot chocolate and zero sugar Oreos (with maltidol). The hot chocolate was weak so I added sugar! The Oreos are OK.

@JoyfulSilence I love it! You added sugar. Lol!!! Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of sugar free ?

@Musicman

I do not recall if it was sugar free or just "low calorie". It just was weak. Not just sweetness but chocolate flavor, too.
