Have you ever experienced whooshing in your ear?

I'm not certain when it began but I'm thinking a few weeks ago most likely. It was only at night, this whooshing sound on my ear, but I've had it in the morning too sometimes. I looked it up and it's pulsatile tinnitus. Most often caused by vascular flow, and often benign. I do have still a misaligned jaw, and that's the side it's on. It said online , a misaligned jaw can cause whooshing. I noticed if I hold my jaw manually over a few cm, where it should be, the whooshing stopped.
Anyone experience this? It's hard to remember when it began but I think perhaps a few weeks ago.
