Today one student took a picture of us during the qigong class and I wanted to share...:)

@Boeing I'm jealous, I haven't been outside barefoot for months! Much too cold and more importantly no grip on the snow and ice!

@ninalanyon brrrr well it was the first time for us in a while too. Not in the picture, it was later in the practice. It really was a nice day. I mean, it's still.. afternoon. I'll rest a little and continue with the rest of the day.

@JackDaniels 2 of them are my age and the other 3 are somewhere in their 60s. I really like the group, it's gentle. The qigong in itself is gentle so it usually appeals to certain people who wish for calm, to slow down and find healing and clarity..

@ninalanyon there's a big era called the Dark Ages for reasons... Our history is very complicated. One day will write about it perhaps..

@Boeing Ah yes, the much misunderstood period after the fall of the Roman Empire. Whoever decided to call it the Dark Ages should be given a severe talking to, except that they are most likely long dead. Those centuries weren't necessarily dark for those who lived through them, but modern scholars can't see them because not much written evidence of how life was has survived. It's us moderns who are in the Dark about the period between about 450 CE and about 900 CE.

@ninalanyon Historians and archaeologists are now seeing that period with more respect, as bit and pieces of evidence appear.

Rather I suppose as archaeologists and palaeontologists now longer feed the Disneyesque myths slandering the Neanderthals, perhaps!

@BrandonWyatt36 Usually the class doesn't look like that but all are into a meditative state.. Yesterday we were doing this exercise so they get some things how they work and that's how one got the picture!

But I want to take a picture of our regular practice, we practice standing in a circle.
