Would you still get the flu shot in late January?

I have not had it in years but this years strain is much stronger. I'm wondering if I should still get one?

I won’t ever get one again. I took them 3 times when I was in my 30’s and got paraflu every winter and it would come back two more times each winter. Left me fatigued all winter long. Stopped taking them and it didn’t happen any more. A doctor asked me if I was taking them and told him about getting paraflu each time and I wouldn’t do it again. He just shook his head and said “I can’t take them either.” Why in the hell don’t they warn people about this?
