Burn out leave

Been home for about a week now , diagnosed with a burn out / depression.
At first I thought it would be nice to rest and take a moment to listen to myself … turn out this is hard . There is no escaping that heavy shadow , I feel like I am wearing a weighted cloak , everything feels dull and pointless .
I will be having an appointment woth my therapist Monday … perhaps medication .
I guess the point of my post is , Sonetimes people are not ok and it’s important to talk about this things . It can really eat yoi from the inside

I am an alcoholic ( sober for over 1 years now ) and inactivity can be a trap for bad habits.

@Julien Get some of those pills they've been advertising lately. That will ensure you don't turn to the booze.
