Good luck. If you need any interpretation of results from a retired physician feel free.

@samueltyler2 thank you I have pots and the meds aren't helping keep my heart rate down so they are considering doing an ablation on me
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Cigarguy interesting, I am unaware of the ablation approach for postural hypotension. Do you also have a. fib?
Cigarguy · 41-45, M
@samueltyler2 yes
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Cigarguy do you have two probably unrelated lesions. Do you use an academic medical center. I hate to be a snob, but you should seek another opinion.
Cigarguy · 41-45, M
@samueltyler2 no I don't use a academic center
And I will definitely get a second opinion. The recovery of the surgery would be very hard for me.

@Cigarguy ablation is usually done percutaneously, not surgery per se.

@samueltyler2 I really don't know much about this honestly. But I have tourette's and one of my tics is pacing back and forth. So I'm just worried about that and the recovery. Someone said I'd have to be in bed for a few days but like I said I don't know much right now about it. I'm sure I'll find out more when they call me and go over my results

@Cigarguy I hate to be a snob, but you have so many complicating issues, i suggest seeing someone in an academic setting.
Cigarguy · 41-45, M
@samueltyler2 no worries I will gladly take advice. Like I said I'm a bit lost and scared about what could happen.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Cigarguy don't be scared though.
Cigarguy · 41-45, M
@samueltyler2 I try not to be but I over think things and worry about something happening during surgery. I have 3 young kids.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Cigarguy get information about what surgery!
