Anyone who has had Edema

Especially in feet. Were there any other methods in addition to meds that decreased the fluid?
My sister is wondering too if it can be removed via aspiring it with tiny needle?
Any medications you took ? She's talking to her doctor again this week but wanted ideas.

I had a client who had it. He ate peanuts and chips every single day. His sodium levels were through the roof. He found out it was his salt intake the moment that he stopped eating them the swelling went down and never returned so he cut out all salt from his diet . They put him on a sodium chloride tablet regimen so that his body would receive just enough.

I’ve never had it but I do know Celtic sea salt is good for it.

Her doctor won’t tell her that though.

It can help. To put the feet a little higher than the hips while sleeping. Put a blanket or something underneath the mattress for instance.
