I've been Diagnosed with mild astigmatism since I was little, does anyone else on here have this?

-0.75 diopters in both eyes and also near sighted, not bad but it's mild.

No wonder lights on Christmas trees look like stars to me, thought this was normal before being diagnosed.

I've been mildly astygmatic for many years. My glasses sharpen things a bit, so I wear them while driving. But I don't need them otherwise.

Yes, I have that in both eyes. I've had to wear glasses or contact lenses since I was three or four.
It's your nearsightedness which makes the lights big.

Astigmatism makes straight lines curve.

Your basic Rx is for a spherical eye; astigmatism introduces a cylindrical correction to that model at a specific angle & power.
I have astigmatism and doctors can't seem to fix it like most things in my case.

@Frostcloud Sometimes it makes night driving difficult.

@Peaceandnamaste yeah, especially with those awful led headlights on a lot of new trucks
