Diabetic with neuropathy: Edema

My sister is experiencing excess Edema in both feet and ankles. It can occur with neuropathy but now both feet are puffy🥺 She's read to elevate feet above heart level but any other ideas how to minimize edema?
She has a low salt diet already.

She needs salt, organic celtic sea salt, that’s why she’s swelling up, they tell us to avoid salt.

Not the shop bleached crap.

Our bodies need it, what they tell us to avoid, we need to do the opposite.

They don’t want us healed.
@Achelois Salt retains fluid. I think you need to stop giving advice as you never know what you're talking about.

@Achelois Bleached salt? How does that work? Salt is just sodium chloride and is colourless already.

Our body is made up of salt, why do they give heart attack patients sodium.

@Achelois Our body as a whole is only 0.4% sodium chloride. Important but hardly made up of.

You believe the BS lol….

Trust the science, brought to you from the ones that make money from you.

Keep popping them pills. 💊

@Achelois What pills might they be? Do you just act contrary for the hell of it or do you think you have some kind of evidence for your confused ideas? If you think you have some perhaps you could present it to us, including how one might bleach salt.

@Achelois Actually they give cardiac patients nitroglycerin, not sodium, if they're still alive, adrenaline straight to the heart via a large syringe if their heart stops.

They put them on a drip.
