Very anxious today

Ugh I am feeling very anxious right now and I shouldn't. It's really kind of stupid. I'm stressing over going to my eye doctor. I getting an exam and new glasses but man I feel more nervous about this appointment than I did going to my heart doctor yesterday. I don't know why either.

And tonight we're having my bubby over and we're going to talk to him about Star. So I'm worried about how that will do

I really need to relax.

What you are REALLY anxious about is probably NOT the eye appointment. Although they are certainly not fun, and those drops to dilate your eyes make driving home a TRIP.

You are probably doing ONE thing today that is making you anxious, and it has become an octopus of anxiety, spreading its tentacles throughout your activities. Your talk about Star with your friend is probably why you are freaked.

@4meAndyou today would of been my 22nd year anniversary with my x. I think that is what got me on edge because my eye appointment went fine. Order 3 pairs of new glasses (to regular pairs and one pair of sunglasses) and skipped the contacts. So it's probably that and talking with my buddy. I did take 1/2 an anxiety pill so that helped some too

@Cigarguy101 I have heard of that. Of course, I don't keep track of anniversaries, and when I am no longer married I QUICKLY forget those!!! But I have heard of people who keep track of the anniversary of a death in the family and then go into a tailspin on that date every year.

I can almost understand that with a death, though I only remember the year of a death...but anniversaries of ex's are the date to CELEBRATE that their stinking rear ends are finally GONE.

@4meAndyou I don't know why I'm letting it get to me today. I really don't. It's stupid because I'm in a wonderful relationship now but I guess I still care about her even if she fell out of love with me. Or maybe it just reminds me of her walking out of our kids lives. And how she hurt them probably more than she hurt me.

Death anniversaries are hard! I still struggle a lot on my sister's anniversary date.

@Cigarguy101 So learn to celebrate that she LEFT. If she was a good person, she would never have hurt her own children that way.

Buy a bottle of champagne, or whatever is special for you, and share it with Joel tonight. CELEBRATE that a very bad person is gone from your life on this anniversary, and on every other.
