@GuyWithOpinions i want it for muscle recovery, reducing inflammation after work. And embarassingly for being lazy and not working out enough, but getting some muscle toning the easy way:/

@NOS4R2 reducing inflammation, you just need ice, elevation and rest.
Quicker muscle recovery, stay really hydrated and eat a good amount of proteins.
For gaining muscle mass, i dont think it will show significant change without atleast a light standard work out routine. Unfortunately theres no real way to escape exercise. Were just built that way.
Maybe just make exercise fun. Dont really have to go to the gym. Maybe start swimming or take up martial arts, maybe just chase people around downtown with a net and a scary mask. Good cardio.

@GuyWithOpinions id love to have time to put to a fun exercise routine, but i can work anything from 8 - 12 hours a day, constantly on my feet, never stopping. Im pretty much done in when i get home. I know thats not the best excuse.
And the tens machine idea is, (in my thinking), is a starter mode for strengthen joints so i can do more and move better. That way, my work becomes my workout routine, sort of.

@NOS4R2 yeah if you got a labour intensive job, just eat more food. Your body will sort it all out.

@GuyWithOpinions Nutrition is important.
Truth is, theres only so much food one can eat at one time. And i dont like working on a full stomach. I have changed my eating to be healthier.

@NOS4R2 the trick is 6 small meals a day rather than 3 big meals. Atleast thats what i hear. Keeps your metabolism primed.

@GuyWithOpinions i have heard the opposite, that eating too often keeps the body in a state of digestion and little or no time for rest and healing, which can lead to inflammation.
But then i also believe that everyone finds what works for them if they pay attention to their body.
