I haven't been in about 30 years. Don't sweat it. If you're healthy, and believe in self-care/mind over body, there's no need. Obviously, if something really goes south that's a little different. But a lot of people go to the doctor for "owies." No need.

Am 35 never been I think am in the same boat.
However, my wife went 2 months ago to find out why she itches so much all over. Blood tests stated borderline of becoming Type II diabetes. Reports stated NOTHING ELSE! So she gave up sugar, felt better but itchiness reduced but not too much was on n off. Any guesses wha the problem was?? GLUTEN! THE REPORTS DID NOT STATE GLUTEN! She found out by eliminating it from her diet. Now she does not itch all over whasoever. BUT THE DOCTOR REPORT TOLD HER NOTHING!

I’m a lot older than you but I do understand a little bit of not wanting to go to the doctors. I think I’ve been there more times this year than I’ve been there my whole life before. Just my opinion but I don’t go unless I need to and that has worked great for me not saying it’s for everyone .
Go or not that’s your call just try to stay healthy and happy.
Doctors can always find something it seems.

@Repete Preventative medicine is a wonderful thing. All my younger years I would go very spottily and always get a clean bill of health. But one day my doctor said "go see a dermatologist about that."
And the dermatologist tested & removed a cancer from my skin. Also identfied several hard bumps on my skin that weren't going away, identified them as pre-cancerous, and removed them all with liquid nitrogen spray. Preventative medicine is a wonderful thing!

@ElwoodBlues it can be I agree but it can also cause more stress than if not known in first place to each the choice is there’s . My mom was diagnosed with cancer given one year if she took treatment, she didn’t and lived for 7 years doing the things she liked and wanted to do. All but the last 6 months was a wonderful time . I lost 2 aunts ( my mothers sisters) to cancer both had chemo treatment and suffered more than lived .
Personally when I can’t live my life doing the things I like, they may as well burry me . My choice is certain things I don’t want to know.

Best not to go, all they do is push drugs onto people.

What would they tell you? Nothing. Obviously you don't need one, otherwise you would already pay a visit.
You also must be lucky to avoid any kind of system where the medical check or at least a sick leave is a requirement.

I guess it depends on what’s in your family genetics. Sadly, colorectal cancer is in mine. My paternal grandmother (my username) died from it, as well as two of of my uncles. So far, my father’s stayed healthy from regular checkups. We kids have tried to stay on top of it as well. Doctors can’t catch or fix everything, but sometimes it’s worth going. 🥺

Wait until you turn 85... going to the doctor every other week will become a big part of your social life and your ailments will be the topic of every conversation you have and in truth, you'll be pissed off if the doctor says your just fine.
