Last night i had a rare type of migraine that mimics a stroke. Yay hospital bill

Hemiplegic migraine it's called. Never had one of those before. They're scary as hell

After a car accident in which my car was rear ended, I began to have weird stroke-like facial sagging. I went to the ER, and was diagnosed with "Visual Migraine". I had lots of strange symptoms for several months after the accident.

@anoderod55 It came back a bit this morning but the doctor at the hospital wants me to see a neurologist. Especially because I am prone to migraines. I've just never had this type before.

I had something similar once. Crippling headache, and nausea. Went to the ER. Blood pressure through the roof, sweatshirt is literally soaked in sweat. Doc tested for a stroke, then for a brain aneurysm. Then I got a spinal tap for meningitis. All tests were negative. They sent me home with no answer as to what happened. The pain killers were damn good, though.
