My joint pain is gone

When I talked to my oncologist about the pain last year, he said it wasn’t because of the treatment. (Even though it started after treatment. I had no pain before)
So I saw a primary doctor, and she said it was because my age (even though the pain was sudden, and I’d never had issues before or injured myself doing anything).

The relief arrived as suddenly as the pain had. No one has answers for me, but I’m glad it seems to be over. It’s been several months of joint stiffness and pain; especially after I’d slept. I never thought it would end. Really thought my body was permanently damaged.

Let's hope it's a permanent swing in the right direction.
Having gone through all that.

@Colonelmustardseed I do have it but it's in my lower back and pelvis.
Originally thought it was a muscular thing affecting my ability to walk but it turns out it's nerve damage in my lower spine.
They don't want to operate until they absolutely have to because of the risk of paralysis if it goes wrong.

Means my lower legs and feet are permanently cold and I can't feel my feet.
@Picklebobble2 Oh no. That’s terrifying. I hope nothing goes wrong, whatever they do. 😔

@Colonelmustardseed It affects everything from being uncertain on my feet to giving me pain if I stand too long; same with sitting down even laying flat in bed !
Hence why I'm up at 4am on here 😖
That is so great! I'm happy for you. 😄
@PhoenixPhail Thank you. 🥰

You are lovely and you deserve to heal from your pains ❤️
@sam1992 Aw. That’s kind of you to say. 🧡
Hopefully that’s the end if that and the rest of you can now begin healing now too!
