How much control do you have under "laughing gas"?

Genuine question. I have an irrational fear of being put under "laughing gas" because... i don't know. Most likely very irrational of a fear and doesnt work that way but I'm still scared of it because i think id have no awareness or control.

You are aware. It's not like anesthesia.
It actually feels very pleasant.
The best way I can describe it is you feel super relaxed as if you are laying on clouds. You feel like you are drifting, super close to being sleep. I had it during a dental procedure (forgot what it was) I was nervous so they gave me the gas to relax me.

They talked to me during the procedure and I had no problem.

You will be totally fine.
If I have another dental issue and they ask if I need laughing gas, I'll gladly say yes! 🤣
