It’s true what they say about good health - you take it for granted and think that you’re always going to be okay.

My husband Dan and I were supposed to be on holiday this week but after two days we’ve had to return home, because he has started to have episodes where his body shakes violently and he collapses. This is happening two to three times a day for up to 30 minutes at a time.

We’ve been through one doctors surgery and two hospitals and so far nobody can find the cause.

Dan is a big fit guy who is used to working 12 hour shifts in all weather, but this has floored him. He’s frightened but he’s trying not to show it.

I’m very worried about him. And me being a 5’3 beanpole it’s hard to cope with an unconscious giant when he passes out in a waiting room. People just stepped over us to go about their day.
