The reason we want to see abortions illegal is simple. It intentionally and deliberately ends an innocent human life. The reason people have abortions isn’t simple
We do realize that unplanned is real. That fears are real, and that some people simply think that it is a matter of women’s rights. NO ONE should have the right to intentionally and deliberately end the development of an innocent human life.
We need to address the societal issues that make women think abortion is their only option. The best healthcare for all pregnant women. Reasonable sex education, making sure that pregnant women and their existing children have what they need, the strongest laws that punish those who rape women and hurt any child with incest. I believe if a man is convicted, he needs to be medically castrated and put into a woman’s prison. I believe that would make a man think twice.. Every woman must see her ultrasound before an abortion is done and every high school needs to be ordered to show an abortion being done in every trimester. Every man and woman needs to know exactly and understand what they are defending.
Although a woman losing her very life due to pregnancy is so rare that it is almost never. With the exception of ectopic pregnancies ( the baby will never develop to birth ) the most life threatening issues occur later in pregnancy and most are treatable. Early induction and c section even in cases when they’re a chance a baby won’t survive. A Dr’s must make every effort to save both lives. An abortion is only successful if a dead fetus is extracted from a woman.
Science and medical technology has proven and continues to prove the pro life stance. Most pro abortion advocates admit that roe v wade would have never happened had the medical technology that we have today would have been available in 1973. Which should be sufficient proof that abortion should be illegal. There is no way that science and medical technology can ever prove an “ exclusive woman’s right “ to intentionally and deliberately end the development of an innocent human life. This is a question of ethics and morality. Is it legal to kill any other group of innocent human lives? What makes it okay to kill unborn human lives? Size, level of dependency, environment, development? These characteristics can apply to anyone who is born.
No matter how many democrats win the election or how many people vote for abortion rights, i don’t believe that abortion rights will ever be a constitutional right again. Maybe in some states but never on a federal level. Eventually states will have to prove an elusive right for women. Can this ever be proven ?
