Ooops! I Put On A Show....
So, picture the scene sweeties...It's been a tough day at the office. It's too warm (it said 27 degrees in Notts today..) and one ifs feeling a little frumpy and generally bleuhhhhhh - for no reason whatsoever...
And, as many of you might know, at Chez Cass, my fella has put up a pole and we have gym stuff in our double garage that's on the front of the drive. I've done pole dancing for, like, 5 or 6 years now and it's my one form of exercise that I love.
I felt like a 40 minute blast through some strength exercises, some balance exercises and general routine today....but....that garage was, like, 10,000 degrees....I kid you not!
Well....maybe...a little!
..and I usually have the door closed, but today had it, like 3/4 opened whilst I brought in the laptop, connected the blue-tooth and cranked out some Brad Paisley on the speakers whilst I did my thing.
Natch, oblivious to everything.
I finish my routine, drenched in sweat, sore, aching core, shoulders, thighs and hands and bet back to terra firma only to find that a couple of our neighbours have been watching me...
😱
Some old boys, of course, and as I turned off the music I heard a 'Bloody heck, Cassandra, you're flippin' fit..' from one of them. One of the other's said something about 'dying and going to heaven...', one of the younger girls from across the road just said 'Wow..'.
I blushed.....quickly grabbed my water...and went in the house.
It's fairly quiet street. I wasn't expecting that. Matt thought it was funny that I put on a show for the neighbours...
