Did you put a lot of pressure on it to help stop the bleeding?

I did that once even I was messing around with an xacto knife and I bled a lot

What you need to do is apply band aid butterfly stitch. close the wound tight and put thin strips of band aid across the wound like its being stitched together. then put a band aid over the top of it, it should reduce the bleeding a lot. its what i did when i cut my palm open by accident.

In the future, because I assume you’re still alive, When you cut yourself: Place a clean, dry bandage on it and apply firm direct pressure. DO NOT list the bandage to check on the cut; if it’s still bleeding, simply add another layer of bandage. Wrap it tightly, keep the area above the heart if possible and if pain allows, you can apply some ice to constrict the blood vessels.
Some areas bleed more than others. Just make sure you’re using a good antibacterial cream and are keeping the area dry and clean.

If it’s shallow you can pick up a styptic stick at the store. It stops bleeding. It’ll be in the area with like razors and shaving cream

You might have a clotting issue. That’s not normal, also it depends on how deep the cut was ofc. You should get some blood test done.

Not dying, but get to an emergency room or doctor, it sounds like for some reason your blood's not clotting.

To my barely educated mind, you lack clotting factor in your blood. Get checked it out sooner rather than later.

You likely won't die, but you might have hurt it pretty badly. Disinfect, plaster it and apply pressure. Then go to the hospital, you might need stitches.
