My dentist gave me a mouth splint to wear while I sleep...

But then my jaw locked and I couldn't open my mouth enough to take the splint out :I

Luckily after about 20 minutes after I woke up, it unlocked

But damn, that was a worry

Yeah, I told them I felt like it was gonna lock when I was trying it on and the response I got was: "nah, it's just your anxiety making you feel like it's gonna lock, but it won't"

But yeah, it's frustrating how "anxiety" seems to be the go to answer for everyone 🤦

@Fishy If you feel it happening again, I would have them take a look at it for you. Even if it really is anxiety, them checking it up and giving you an okay can bring some peace of mind with it.

@Ducky tbh I really think it's linked to my wisdom teeth because basically the exact thing happened to my mum,
But the dentists don't seem to agree,
But this new dentist I'm seeing seems a lot nicer so I'm being patient and maybe she might believe me 😔
