Well I am at the hospital for my first IV antibiotic treatment. I will be doing this 3 times a day for 10 days. I will be coming at 7:30am, 2:30pm and 9:30pm for the infusions.
I am still fighting that amoeba in my sinuses that I have been dealing with since April and I haven’t been able to clear. The Ear/Nose/Throat Specialist is hoping this does the trick to get rid of it.
If I could get all of the positive thoughts and prayers that would mean a lot. I really need to get rid of this. As I am having my infusion at the moment I am feeling so nauseous right now 😢.
@iamonfire696 I am so sorry this happened to you. You certainly didn't deserve this person to do that, of all people, to you. This really burns me up! That person is getting blocked! Must be a troll. I cannot even believe somebody could do this to you or anyone else. Pure ignorance! 😡😡😡

I just wanted to tell you that I took my one post down that I wrote here, because a friend of mine, pointed out to me that anyone could take that the wrong way with that picture that was there. I hadn't thought about it. You being in the hospital, I thought the picture would be sure to give you a good laugh, but now I can see where someone might take that the wrong way, and if you did, I sincerely apologize. I just wanted you to feel better and laugh. I hope you're feeling so much better now and you have recovered by now.
I hope the IV med works out for you. I would def maybe take a probiotic or have yogurt while on this treatment (to get good bacteria back in gut and avoid yeast infection as well)

@WaryWitchWandering Thank you. That’s a really good tip, my last course of antibiotics was 28 days and I got the pills because it was so bad and wanted to make sure the good bacteria was doing it’s thing.

@LadyGrace I don’t know how I got it wasn’t from swimming. I have had it since April and I wasn’t swimming. I am immunocompromised and pick everything up.
Not feeling well at all today. These antibiotics are so hard on me.

praying for you now. I think he listens to me as i am still here and been all clear of cancer for 3 years. You can help yourself a lot by staying positive and looking after yourself. Trust me it works

Oh my. I was in hospital last year on IV antibiotics, but only for two days while they waited for blood thinners to flush from my system. Hope the infusions works and the amoebas die.
@iamonfire696 I could have been for the last surgery, but that involves the approval of so many doctors, plus a whole day in hospital, I opted for a local and I took in a little MP3 player with headphones and listened to episodes of the classic 1950s BBC Radio comedy show, THE GOON SHOW, after they gave me the local anaesthesia. Gonna see if I can do that with the thyroid needle biopsy, too.

As to why would you want to do that? It doesn’t sound like you have a problem going to the hospital that much. I really hope that you have no side effects from the treatments, you most likely won’t but that would be one reason. I just don’t want to go to the hospital if avoidable and I go all the time

Aww I’m sorry about the nausea but I am so relieved you are getting treatment . They might slip a little Zofran in your IV for the nausea . It’s amazing stuff! 😊prayers were sent 🤗
@iamonfire696 i had a tooth abscess out of the blue and it blew a hole into my sinuses then I had MRSA in my sinuses at the same time. the meds almost killed me. Vancomycin then ZyZoxx...stay the course and let us know how you are.
@iamonfire696 omg....that is horrible. i had a reaction to the vancomycin. the Zyzoxx was the only thing that it would respond to. i would take a pill and have to lay down. when i had my knee surgery 3 weeks ago, i had to go back on vancomycin because he said surgery can kick it back up. get better
