What do you do went your energy booster doesn't boost your energy? 🤔

Been regularly taking a certain type of energy boosting supplements. Sort of like a chocolate candy ball. I won't name the product name. Yet I will list the daily values below. Mostly because of just how high they are.

Thing is after having been taking this supplement over a month I still want to go back to sleep. 😞 The darn stuff is high in caffeine as well.

Must note I really don't take the maximum number of eight of these candy like balls. I only take at most six.

Serving size 2 pieces at total 7 grams.
Calories 30.

(Not worried about calories. I'm under weight and on a 3,000 calorie diet anyway. Have been for decades).

Total fat 1.5g 2% DV
Saturated fats 1g 5% DV
Total carbohydrates 5g 2% DV
Dietary fiber < 1g 2% DV
Sugars 4g (it's a candy after all)

Thiamin (B1) 150 mcg 10% DV
Riboflavin (B2) 170 mcg 10% DV
Vitamin B6 5mg 294% DV
Folate 68 mcg 17% DV
Vitamin B12 15 mcg 625% DV
Biotin 30 mcg 100% DV
Pantothenic acid ( Calcium) 1mg 20% DV
Iron 1mg 3% DV

Has both caffeine and green tea extract (both caffeine): 40mcg DV max is 160 mcg with eight pieces. With a warning to not recommended to take more than eight pieces

Now triple these daily values and that's what I take of these energy boosting candles. And I still want to go to sleep.

Goodnight folks!🥱🛌😴💤

Caffeine has zero effect on me. Some people drink a cup of coffee and cannot sleep. I can be overloaded with caffeine and still sleep anytime, anywhere

@Jenny1234 on top of these little gem's I drink two pots of coffee a day! Why I limit myself to just 6 pieces! 🤷🏻‍♂️
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@DeWayfarer does the package say there is a limit of 6?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Jenny1234 no eight pieces maximum. In three places.

@DeWayfarer maybe it’s not the right type of energy booster for you. Did you ask at the store where they sell them?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Jenny1234 you don't ask that type of thing from where you get something fully sealed, well within expiration dates and totally free came.

Unsold excess product really. Still totally good.

@DeWayfarer I see.
