No unless it was a new innovative inhaler to treat asthma attacks.

@SW-User I would like to try one of those myself.

Ventolin is awesome but sometimes it makes me dizzy & lightheaded. Also makes my heart pound 🤷🏽♀️ @4meAndyou

@SW-User I have a prescription for albuterol, and I ran out, so a friend of mine loaned me his Symbicort inhaler. He only used it twice. I will pick up the albuterol tomorrow. The Symbicort interferes with my ability to sleep a little bit, and the albuterol takes about 20-30 minutes to work, and then I can feel it relaxing my bronchial tubes.

Why does it take so long to work? 30 minutes is tough. How many puffs do you have at a time? @4meAndyou

@SW-User Two puffs, but I can take it every 4 hours. It's sulfate based. It does take 20 to 30 minutes, and Usually I have to sit down and try to breathe calmly and just chill while I am waiting.

I think it depends on your body. It can be scary to wait but if you see a reassuring pattern the important thing is that you get relief in the end 🤗
For me it often works almost instantly like within 5 minutes but my doctor told me if the attack is sudden & really bad and I don't feel any better soon I can have more puffs up to 10. Thought that was crazy. I rarely have to go beyond 2. When I do, I experience those annoying side effects but to me what matters is that I can breathe ok again.
