Do good doctors exist anymore?

Not counting the few who work exclusively for the rich, are there any good doctors anymore? Every time I have a problem, all I ever seem to get are doctors who only care about their own best interest or their big Parma sponsors or their malpractice insurance attorneys or big medical insurance companies and their attorneys. My best interest? It doesn’t exist as far as their concerned. If none of that applies then I can talk about how too often I get misdiagnosed or just told “there’s nothing we can do” BUT “be sure to PAY at the front desk.”

Unfortunately, you gotta be your own health advocate and pay attention and ask questions otherwise yeah, it's all just a big turnstile where they keep sending you for more referrals and tests because they have no idea what is wrong and are just taking shots in the dark until they figure it out.

If there were one or two "good" ones, they would be beaten to a pulp by the insurance agencies and by their own clinic management.

Typically, management of their health care center, where they work, insists that they spend no more than 15 minutes with each patient, so that they can bill the maximum for the minimum amount of time. I was actually instructed that if I had more than one problem to address, I should make several appointments.

I still remember that my Primary Care Physician would rather see me suffer from H Pylori than perform an expensive test...and I DID have H pylori...which cleared up after one completely unnecessary gall bladder surgery and a round of antibiotics.

I see conventional doctors as pharma puppets.
Also they're so buried under paperwork they don't actually have time to look at the patient when a high % of diagnosis should be something to do with interactions.
They suck. You have to see 20 doctors to find a good one.
Yeah you just have to keep looking.

Only around half. It's never been easy to find a highly competent and trustworthy doc.
