Cold. I can always get warm in cold weather by sitting in front of the fire or soaking in a hot tub. But heat just enervates me, even with air conditioning.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
I'm all about the cold.
My weather starts about 65° f. Just chilly enough that you have to wear a light jacket.
Then anything down to 50° below zero is super great with me.
I hate the heat. I hate the humidity. I even hate sunlight.
Give me a 30 degree cloudy day and I am in heaven.

I'd rather cold weather than be too hot.

I live in a place that experiences a lot of extremes extremes, and I will go for heat ever time. I day that starts at -10 F is going to be miserable all day. One that hits even 100 at five will usually be tolerable after dark. But I have to add my view is tempered by the fact that we have way more cold than hot.

I've been lucky enough to go to the Artic, and visited the northern parts of Scandinavia and Russia: you just dress for the weather.
Axelerator · 31-35, M
@CharlesRomsey That's quite cool. I've never been to Russia, but since I'm from Scandinavia I agree with you. You can dress for anything, I just find i don't have to put too much on.
CharlesRomsey · 61-69, M
@Axelerator I was in Murmansk in January ! Cold ain't the word! I discovered the value of silk underwear- a full body stocking made of silk , including a hood. Warmer than any man made fibre.

@CharlesRomsey I imagine there are at least a few corpses under the drifting white dressed for the weather...

Here's how I see it: if it's cold I can add more clothes. If it's too warm, at some point I'm down to no clothes and I'm still too hot.
Kind of difficult though to enjoy a day at the beach when it's 36 degrees out.

Cold for sure. Heat and I have never been friends (which has been tremendously unfortunate, given that I've spent most of my life in Georgia. XD )

Goldilocks is mah name, I like to be just right, not too hot not too cold 🤩

If it could be 65F ALL the time, I would be very happy.

Love heat over cold any day. ☀️

Cold

When the temp plummets to 69, a crisis is announced and all available long underwear is put on stand-by.
Honestly, I think I'd be happiest at the equator.

Throughout my life, I've always been able to handle the heat more than the cold.
Warmth because the cold is unbearable
I prefer something in the middle...

Cold. I couldn't live in a hot country. 🥵
TeamSkullGrunt · F
heat. unless it's humid
Axelerator · 31-35, M
@TeamSkullGrunt I agree the humidity makes it much harder to deal with than the heat itself

I can tolerate temps of 100F but I am distractedly, unproductively cold below 50F even in jackets.
