With a male dermatologist?

My regular female doctor is on maternity leave, and I did still need to accept the appointment with a male. T ried other practices, none took my insurance. The main thing Im wondering, do they check your Vageen ?? My female one just does quick peek, like two seconds, but im REALLY on edge about if a male may... 😒

Are you going for a general physical or for a dermatology appointment?

I’d say this; If it’s a general physical and it’s with a male physician, and you’re anxious, ask if a female chaperone or female nurse can be present.

I’d think if you have a dermatology related issue and it does not involve your area of concern, you wouldn’t have that done.

@soar2newhighs Its a full body scan with dermatologist...ive read many derms do check thst area but my other female derm fid it very quick, like two seconds. I guess I could just say Ill have my gyno check on next pap smear. Phew!!
