Acupuncture worked for my sciatica
SW-User
@JohnnyNoir I've wanted to try that for migraines before but I think solitude probably helps more than anything else [funny, that]. But I'd still like to try it anyway...seems like it would be relaxing.
SW-User
Yes, I have, in the form of acupuncture and two different herbal concoctions to heal a torn tendon in my foot that was taking a very long time to heal. One of the herbal medicines was to strengthen bone/sinew/tendons/joints, and the other was for pain. Worked so much better than what I was being offered by western medicine at the time, and got me walking without support again within a half dozen acupuncture sessions, which was about in 3 weeks time

@SW-User good to hear that.

I've tried gingko biloba, and ginseng, goji berries, (but only because they were already in some juice I bought), and wheat grass.

Most of this I tried because it was mainstream at the time, but I didn't see any miraculous results.

@4meAndyou yeeeeeesh.....I even fell for the coconut oil fad briefly..terrible for the skin !
4meAndyou · F
@revenant I still have coconut oil in my cabinet...but I was using it for my stomach. It has one weird curative property that I need every once in a while. It cures the H Pylori bacteria. Once you catch that, it stays in your blood stream all your life, and if you have stomach ulcers, it comes back with a vengeance.
revenant · F
@4meAndyou ahh I am glad you found good use for it.
SW-User
Nope. But I had ayurvedic stuffs. Common where I live. 🤷
revenant · F
@SW-User let me guess...neem toothpaste ?🙂
SW-User
@revenant yes. 😅 It doesn't taste like regular colgate.
revenant · F
@SW-User ahah I have not tried it but I find neem good for the skin though !
curiosi · 61-69, F
When possible I treat with herbs.
revenant · F
@curiosi chinese herbs ?
curiosi · 61-69, F
@revenant At times, no specifics are coming to mind at the moment.

I'm guessing Chinese people have 🤣. I'm sorry, couldn't resist.
I tried and it did work.
Azlotto · M
I keep Yunan Baiyao powder in stock. It works great.
revenant · F
@Azlotto now you are making me mightily curious
Azlotto · M
@revenant It's used for wound healing, as a pain reliever, and to stop bleeding.
revenant · F
@Azlotto thank you for the information.

No. Just Asian food and supplements. All are of good quality. 🙂
