I had one a very long time ago. Things have much improved since then. They slid me into this tunnel, chamber like thing and then the loud banging started. Now they have open MRI's and it's much better for the claustorphobic.

Yes, and I hated it. I didn’t think I was claustrophobic until I had an MRI. I hope I don’t have to have another one!

I’ve had two. It’s noisy in the machine. I’m claustrophobic but the technicians were great at making me feel comfortable. There is something you can take before you go to relax you so ask your doctor if you need something

No, but I probably should. I hope it's nothing serious these things are usually just precautions by the doctors and there's probably nothing seriously wrong.

I`ve had two and they had to knock me out I`m extremely claustrophobic.

I had one while pregnant and honestly can’t remember much about it other than it being extremely loud and testy when it came to my claustrophobia. Breezed right through it though because I was really focused on going home. You’ll breeze through it too 🙂

Just close your eyes and take a nap, if you can. It's really easy, just a little long and noisy.

Yup. And you don't want my version of the story. Never again. But if you're not claustrophobic and even if you are, there are ways to make it bearable and it's so important to have. Good luck hope all the results are what is you're hoping for.

Just the one. They played music but I had been given ear plugs. That and the noise of the machine meant I couldn’t hear it.

Check into open MRI machines if you find the normal ones to claustrophobic. Xanax is good for calming if not. Ask your Dr.

Several, for mine it was my head they gave me ear plugs but i have to say the noise was almost unbearable super loud cracking noises over and over .

Now that's being truly naked. When they can see inside your body, that's next level intimacy.
