One week with a Plaster Cast on my leg

Have not gone out the front door for a week.
Plaster cast feels too tight and is compressing the bones in my foot. Painful.
Going to outpatients on Wednesday, hopefully they will remove the cast.
Sick of this bone rubbing soreness.

Keep an eye out on the colour of your toes... ring them sooner if you start to lose blood supply to them.

Can you actually see any signs of swelling in your leg or foot when you look at the uncovered areas???

@HootyTheNightOwl Cast runs from knee to the toes. Only toes are exposed.
Normal colour, temperature, no sign of swelling in toes.

@Gusman Hmm... it's strange that the cast feels tight, then... I would have expected some swelling somewhere for that to happen.

What did you do? We’ve been dealing with my son and his ankle for 2 1/2 months. He couldn’t stand the cast either :( I hope you feel better soon 🤗

@Keepitsimple I done this a week ago today. Too early to know how the healing is progressing. Cast is rubbing bones. Rather uncomfortable/painful

@Gusman cast is normally 8 weeks for bone to heal right
