COULD Be Sumberged by Canary Island Tsunami

@ravenwind43 There's a volcano erupting in La Palma, on the Canary islands, and there are earthquakes happening almost constantly since then. There's a big slab of rock slanted in the direction of the ocean, about the size of Manhattan. IF that chunk of rock becomes a landslide, THAT is when it will happen. You would have 7 hours warning.

I just heard that on Facebook, the Tsunami Warning Bureau says it is unlikely. BUT this would be an awesome time for a vacation.

I live three blocks from the harbor. IF, as they say, the water will be 98 to 164 feet high as it sweeps in, then I would be killed, too...even though I live in a 4th floor apartment near the top of a hill.

@4meAndyou Hmmm....I don't think I have many places to run in 7 hours. Canada isn't letting people in lol.

@ravenwind43 I would have to drive west past the place where I lived with my parents...about a 3 hour to 4 hour drive with heavy traffic.

@4meAndyou Worst case scenario to be sure. I guess I'd have to figure out what to do with my last seven hours.

@ravenwind43 Get to high ground, and climb a tree? JK! Seriously, I looked up the elevations where I live. If the waves are only 98 feet high, I could survive by going up one floor in the elevator.

Higher than that...oh well.

@4meAndyou There is no high ground where I live lol, and I am not spending the last 7 hours busting my @ss climbing a tree. Booze, good food, music, sex with someone and of course, spending time with family. However it works out.
