COULD Be Sumberged by Canary Island Tsunami

If you have vacation time, you might want to head away from the east coast.

We will have seven hours warning. There is a massive slab of land the size of the island of Manhattan that has become unstable. If it slides down into the ocean, then the tsuanami will happen.

Only in a worst case scenario. If you check the tsunami alerts for the NOAA over the Canary Islands, you'll see nothing.

@Barefooter25 I don't know why, but I don't trust the NOAA with my life or anyone else's.

The east coast of the United States is extremely vulnerable to flooding from rising sea levels intermittent and increasing. Measures need to be planned now to secure its continued viability. It will cost trillions.

@Muthafukajones Unfortunately it will not be possible in time, if this slab of land slides into the sea.

@Muthafukajones Don't believe it. The rising sea level scare tactic is just that. A scare tactic. A tsunami is much more realistic.

Yikes. I’m staying away
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
Well I get wiped out. When is this happening?:)

@ravenwind43 Get to high ground, and climb a tree? JK! Seriously, I looked up the elevations where I live. If the waves are only 98 feet high, I could survive by going up one floor in the elevator.

Higher than that...oh well.
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
@4meAndyou There is no high ground where I live lol, and I am not spending the last 7 hours busting my @ss climbing a tree. Booze, good food, music, sex with someone and of course, spending time with family. However it works out.

@ravenwind43 Sounds like a plan...😉
That impact would truly be catastrophic
