Maybe learned a bit of perspective...

New apartment... Bout a month here. Equates to perhaps 20 days/nights hearing the couple in the next house fight...scream...break shit..cops occasionally. First time I had the opportunity to approach her today...as I was getting in my truck. Basic pleasantries exchanged with a woman with a fat lip. Bout' to go to McDonald's, can I get you something? " Oh lord no, that stuff is sooo unhealthy, but thanks".. her response.

Things like this bother me, from all perspectives but..... you reached out, she'll never admit her problems because she's hurt, ashamed but mostly proud and she knows [i]you know[/i]. She also knows you're approachable and no threat. So you did all you could do but oh, what a can of worms 🦠

Kinda have to mind my own biz' I guess. I've a heart for most but no room for added drama to my life. I hear some volatile stuff...Ill call the cops. 🤷‍♀️
