Your Thoughts on Manscaping ?

Though this question is more or less directed at females, men who have opinions are free to post them here.

How important do you find it for a man to trim, shave, or wax ?

Is there a difference of opinion between women over and under 30 ?

Does manscping include chest hair or just the more private areas of his body ?

I'm really very curious to know what women prefer when it comes to their lovers body hair.

Hopefully this won't devolve into some type of joke thread, but I suppose I can't control that.

In general, I appreciate it when a man keeps himself well groomed, whether it's regular haircuts, clean shaven on his face or keeping his beard well trimmed, etc. I love chest hair, though, so sexy and masculine. In private areas, I prefer manscaping.

I guess I like a man who takes care of himself overall: mental agility, physical exercise, good hygiene, well groomed, well dressed, etc. Yes, I have a type. :)

I find smooth shaven skin hot but I'm into feminine types. Like it's a fetish territory, to be honest.
On normal men, speaking like a normal woman (probably), I just like clean, maintained look. Not scruffy "neckbeard" or overly groomed dudes that look like from a magazine for gay men.

@CrazyMusicLover That last line about overly groomed = Yes!

@samueltyler2 Here's a male model. A very prolific successful one. And he isn't shaved. He is perfect in that regard.

I don't really care. As long as he's very clean I'm happy. I guess totally removed is convenient though 😊

@PatientlyWaiting25 why did you choise the word convenient?
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
@samueltyler2 there will be less chance of hair in your mouth 😂

@PatientlyWaiting25 actually, that it is something i like, but to each their own.

There appears to be different definitions here of manscaping.

I prefer well groomed, and any hair to be trimmed and short. Private parts very well kept.

I don't mind a little facial stubble, think it's sexy. But not fond of beards unless very short.
Shaved / waxed legs or arms, etc.. or anything that feels effeminate and unmasculine is a huge turn off.

Even a little rough around the edges at times can be appealing.

@Magenta I’ve kept my facial hair all types of ways. Everything from clean shaven to the big unruly full faced beard, and everything in-between.

I’ve sported the goatee, once had the handlebar mustache, the old firefighter mustache, and the rugged rough around the edges - maintained stubble look.

I shaved my head for a couple of years at one point and walked around bald.

When it comes to my chest, I maintain it regularly by trimming the edges of it and making sure there are no really long hairs that look out of place. It does travel down my stomach and that is trimmed as well in a tapering fashion. My ex loved it and called it my “Love Trail”

Below, I will sometimes shave but mostly I just keep it trimmed and tight. I remove all the hair from my sack though which is a very delicate affair.

The last few years have seen the development of much better/safer tools for this type of thing and I have been looking into buying something newer.

Thus the reason for this post in a way.

Thank you for your honesty and opinion.
