People sometimes ask me if I ever get tired of having long hair in the Summer

My answer I always never. Our hair is sacred in my culture. I’d sooner pass out from having my hot, thick head of hair than ever cut it just for a temporary relief.

I think that's beautiful. 🌺 I so didnt want to cut my hair this summer, but its so humid in MA sometimes, I chopped off four inches lol. But its already growing each month a bit. It does feel lighter. Do you do light trims, or never cut it?

@Coralmist I never cut it. I used to trim it, but I learned there’s a point where my gets so long, it will fall off naturally. It doesn’t need to be trimmed.
