Myrnah I'm mostly curious over why the concept was created in the first place. Lust, gluttony, greed, wrath, envy, pride, and anger are listed but curiously it did not include lying. Nor did the ten commandments include it as a broad category. Only a specific form of it. This has led me to conclude that religion didn't want to put itself into a bind as it couldn't easily define what truth was and wasn't all in on honesty as being the best policy.
