I just had a revelation about working out

I always attributed soreness to progress but I didn't know your body adjusted after the initial phase.
So I'd always give up after a bit thinking I'd already plateaued because I just felt normal no matter how heavy or much I lifted o_o

So I've lifted hella weights today. Plus my circulation has increased so much since I stopped smoking about 5 days ago and I feel like 50% healthier already. Happy days.

Congrats on not smoking for 5 days! 🥳 as a past smoker who hasn't had one for about 8 years now i can appreciate how hard those first weeks are. Keep going!

@RebelHeart Thanks! yeah I feel so much better already. I have energy all the time again after 6 days whereas I used to feel dead all day every day and not be able to smell anything.

Like I'd wanna workout but had no energy, now I have more energy than I have things to do for it

@Ryannnnnn thats so awesome. Have you noticed an improvement in your sense of taste as well? I noticed that but i cant remeber how far in it was

@RebelHeart I think that one comes over time but I have been eating way more anyway so I'm obviously enjoying it haha. I'm combating it a bit by having like 3 protein shakes a day and lifting though. I remember you being ripped af at one point actually!.
