I'm about three months into it. So far I normally go twice a week for 45 minutes to an hour, and once a week for a personal trainer session for an hour. Can feel muscle building, but still need to do a lot of work on controlling my eating to really start seeing progress
bluebird · 26-30, F
@UpsideOutInsideDown maybe make it 3 times a week
UpsideOutInsideDown · 36-40, M
@bluebird It is three total, just once is with a personal trainer, the other two times is by myself. I'd like to start stepping it up though

About 40-45 min per session three times a week these days, but increasing it.

@bluebird After 30 minutes, or after age 30?! The man on the crosstrainer next to me was on it for about 25 mins. I was on it for much less!

@bluebird No? Really? I'm pretty impressed at my gym, I see pensioners working out a lot harder than I do - good for them!

I do workout videos by fitness legend Tony Horton instead. 10 Minute Trainer. 10 minutes of intense training. Sometimes, I even add another one making it 20 or 30 minutes. It works well for me.

45 mins to 1 hour and 15 minutes, 4 times a week. Really shouldn't go over 1 hour. At least for heavy lifting. The body can't handle more than that, typically.
NotJamieM · 46-50, M
60 to 90 minutes depending on what day it is, try to go 5-6 times per week. Mostly cardio.
Stangdriver · 31-35, M
I go 3 to 4 times a week. I usually spend at least 2 hrs per session. What about yourself?

@SW-User not ur thing to exercise or go to the gym
SW-User
@bluebird going to the gym and specifically exercise. If you lead a moderately active lifestyle, don't stuff your face with empty carbs and fat, you shouldn't need to additionally exercise unless it's vanity or to further some sporting activity.
