All the seasons in one teenager's afternoon
🌞 Collected my daughter from my mother's house yesterday. She had stayed the night and as usual had been a perfect angel for grandma.
🌩 Thought I'd take advantage of a good mood in the car to gently broach the subject of cleaning her room. This somehow ends up with a 15 year old crying and screaming in my face and throwing one of her shoes out of the car window 🤷♀
🥶 Daughter spends half an hour in her Time Out corner. After half an hour decides she is not speaking to me or my wife.
🌦 Sobbing sounds are heard from behind the closed bedroom door. I knock and cautiously enter. A very tearful and apologetic young lady throws herself into my arms. Shortly after we are best friends once more and I am helping to braid her hair 🌈
