Do you have to do PE barefoot if you forget PE shoes
I am last year of school but lost mine when moving house so have to do all PE and drama classes barefooted now.

@Mariagirl My daughter is going to play the role of a Victorian workhouse orphan in her school productiom mext month. She has to be barefoot for that.

@SunshineGirl In pictures of Victorian life, I had never seen anyone barefoot. They are always fully dressed in nice clothes.
After reading this post of yours, I found info of children from poorer families going barefoot to save their shoes from wearing out, in this time period.
Was your daughter comfortable, with being barefoot in a play, when it wasn't her choice?

@Craig82 She wouldn't have done it if she felt uncomfortable.
Going barefoot on a clean, warm stage was much more comfortable for her and her classmates than it would have been for those poor workhouse children.
