High School

My darling daughter started back at school today but I get a phone call informing me she has just been very rough with a boy I asked her when she got home what happened and she tells me the boy was being a nuisance so she did the old grab and twist yikes I am not happy but not sure how to deal with her now

Well depends on what being a nuisance is maybe he had it coming you don't want your daughter to be a pushover
@Whyme No but somehow I thought this year would be different

@Wediegiver well my friend maybe it is maybe he had it coming and your raising a self reliant young lady

@Whyme [quote]a self reliant young lady

Who could find herself serving significant time in prison in the not too distant future.

@Sharon or maybe she just didn’t wanna be messed with maybe he’s a woman abuser and this time it didn’t fly yould rather she be abused ?
Sharon · F
@Whyme She alleged he was being a nuisance, that's all. Would you agree it's acceptable for a boy to assault a girl whom he claimed was being a nuisance?
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Sharon define what that means to her or you or him or me
Sharon · F
@Whyme The precise definition is irrelevant. If you think it acceptable for a girl to assault a boy because she claims he is being a nuisance, would you also find it acceptable if, using the same definition of "nuisance", the sexes were reversed?

Maybe she's a boy/man abuser. You don't seem to have considered that possibility.
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Sharon it is relevant it may be way worse what she calls it than what you call it therefore the reaction may be warranted
Sharon · F
@Whyme The question remians though, would you consider it equally acceptable if the sexes were reversed?

I stand by my initial reply. If she thinks it's acceptable to assaultd others, even if they be only boys, she could find herself facing prison.

@Sharon I see what your saying but I still stand by to here there isn't enough info and honestly the norm is young boys being pricks
Sharon · F
@Whyme I agree we don't know precisely what she meant by him being a nuisance but I doubt it was anying justifying assault. Boys can be prick but so can girls, who also often think they can assault boys and men with impunity. I note you avoid answering my question of whether you would find it equally acceptable if the sexes were reversed.
